Fraud Alert
Job seekers should be alert to impersonators on job boards, social media platforms, and other forums who claim to be DLA Piper LLP (US) partners, employees, or representatives. Impersonators may use the DLA Piper name and logo, as well as partner and employee names and job titles, to gain a job seeker’s personal or banking information or to request payment as a condition of being considered for a position at the firm. DLA Piper, its partners, and its employees are not involved in these scams.
With this notice, DLA Piper alerts job seekers to be vigilant by, for instance, flagging messages that come from an email domain other than @dlapiper.com or @us.dlapiper.com, request that the job seeker make a financial commitment or provide personal data or banking information, contain unusual content, or were delivered via social media or an online messaging service. The firm encourages those individuals who feel they may be the recipient of a fraudulent communication or job offer to contact Assistance@us.dlapiper.com to confirm the authenticity of the message.
