Barbara is an international tax lawyer with over 20 years experience in domestic and international tax structuring.

Barbara’s practice focusses particularly on the tax aspects of cross border private equity and real estate investments, and the tax structuring of investment funds.

Nathan Bush

Partner, DLA Piper

Nathan (Nate) Bush advises clients in internal investigations, government enforcement actions, and compliance involving antitrust and competition, international trade, and corruption and fraud. He was based in Beijing from 2004 through 2012, and has covered Asia from Singapore since 2013.

Lino Arboleda

Senior Leader, International Trade Compliance APAC, GE Aerospace

Lino Arboleda serves as the Senior Leader for International Trade Compliance in the APAC Region at GE Aerospace. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for overseeing GE Aerospace’s adherence to sanctions and export control laws and regulations, and for helping to shape and deploy the strategic vision for managing the company’s Internal Compliance Program in the region. With over two decades in the field, Lino boasts an extensive background in export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance, and holds a Certified Sanctions Specialist (CSS) certification.

Sudhakar Aduri

APAC Head of Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption Compliance at Wells Fargo

Sudhakar is a seasoned Financial Crimes Compliance practitioner with over 17 years of experience in building and managing complex Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) Compliance programs at large global banks. He has broad regulatory expertise across U.S., and the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to his current position at Wells Fargo, Sudhakar was part of the Financial Crimes leadership team at Bank of America and Citi and advised on Sanctions and ABC risk management in Corporate & Investment banking, Retail, and Private Banking business.

Anna Quah

Asia Pacific Region Legal, UPS

Anna Quah is the Asia Pacific Vice President for Legal in UPS. In her role, Anna has helped the company navigate many regulatory and political challenges, while ensuring business sustainability and growth. In addition, Anna was recently awarded Top Woman Lawyer of the Year in the Asian Legal Business South-East Asian Awards.

Philip Lee

Partner, DLA Piper

Over 22 years of experience in corporate finance work including capital markets, complex restructuring, structured financing, private equity and M&A transactions across the globe with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific region.
