Prop 65 and its impact on consumer products
Our webinar on new developments and compliance strategiesWednesday, December 13, 2023
California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was developed to protect California citizens from exposure to chemicals via drinking water sources or products. This regulation has broad implications for consumer products, and failure to comply could result in litigation and, ultimately, fines and penalties, including the payment of plaintiffs’ attorney’s fees.
DLA Piper attorneys George Gigounas, Greg Sperla, and Vanessa Adriance hosted a webinar to provide their insights and updates on proposed new Prop 65 warnings, the latest enforcement trends, and effective compliance strategies.
