Labor and Global Employment Forum

On November 8, 2022, we co-hosted our first in-person Labor and Global Employment Forum since the start of the pandemic. Together with Israel law firm, Herzog, Fox Neeman, and the Israel branch of the Association of Corporate Counsel, we hosted three-panel discussions, focusing on termination, remote work, and highlights of 2022. Panelists addressed the pros and cons of remote work; new regional labor- and employment-related rules implemented in response to the pandemic; and the impact of Covid on employee termination laws in different countries.

We were privileged to have eleven of our employment colleagues from across DLA Piper participate on the panels: Vinita Arora (United Kingdom); Dr. Kai Bodenstedt (Germany); Hélène Bogaard (Netherlands); Johnny Choi (China); Jan Colhoun (United Kingdom); Jasper de Bok (Netherlands); Nils Grunicke(Germany); Pilar Menor (Spain); Pasquale Siciliani (Italy); Iain Skinner (UAE); and Daniel Turinsky (USA). Orly Gerbi, Abigail Borowitz, and Moria Tam-Harshoshanim, partners in Herzog’s labor and employment group, moderated the three presentations.
