Kirstie's appointment comes as the firm prepares to move to its new home in Leeds. City Square House, a newly developed office space in the centre of the city, stands as one of Leeds' most advanced and sustainable commercial buildings.

Andrew Dyson, UK Country Managing Partner, DLA Piper, commented: "I've had the pleasure of working with Kirstie for a number of years, and I am confident that as we enter our new home in the city, Kirstie will bring her dedication and experience to the role, and support the office through its next phase of growth. I look forward to working with Kirstie in my new role."

Kirstie Allerton, Leeds Office Managing Partner, DLA Piper, added: "Being appointed as Office Managing Partner is a great honour and I am looking forward to getting started in continuing to develop our presence in this exciting region of the UK. I would like to thank all my partners and colleagues who trust me to guide our Leeds offering over my term, and Andrew for his continued guidance and support.

"Over the coming weeks, I will be setting out my strategy to build on the strong platform we have in Leeds, and I look forward to welcoming our people to our new office in City Square House."
