DLA Piper advises bVALUE Growth on investment in online sports retailer Sportano

DLA Piper has advised bVALUE Growth, a leading investment fund, on its financing of Sportano, a Polish sports e-commerce brand. The bVALUE Growth fund will complete a multi-million-Zloty investment in Sportano, with the funds utilised to support the dynamic development of the brand, and allowing Sportano to exceed the PLN300 million that it recorded in revenue this year.

Sportano is an online sports retailer where customers can buy equipment, clothing, footwear, and accessories from over 800 brands. The business is present in 12 European markets and has more than 1 million active customers.

The bVALUE Growth fund invests in high-growth companies from Central and Eastern Europe with a proven business model and above-average growth potential.
