DLA Piper recognized as a top firm for patent litigation by The Recorder

DLA Piper was named the patent litigation category winner of The Recorder’s 2023 On the Radar award, which recognizes go-to law firms representing tech sector clients. The recognition is part of the publication’s annual California Legal Awards program “celebrating the achievements of lawyers and companies leading technology, innovation and the profession as a whole.”

According to The Recorder, On the Radar award winners were selected based on the volume and significance of matters handled for leading technology companies by California-based legal teams since January 2022.

“This award is a testament to the breadth of our technology-focused patent litigation practice, which was born in California and now spans the country and the globe,” said Sean Cunningham, global co-chair and US chair of DLA Piper’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice and US chair of the Patent Litigation practice.

With more than 130 patent litigators in key jurisdictions worldwide, DLA Piper’s Patent Litigation team has a strong track record of driving successful outcomes in complex cases by combining courtroom acumen with in-depth technical knowledge, advanced degrees and experience across the electronics, computer science, telecommunications and wireless, pharma and biotech, medical devices, chemical engineering, materials and automotive industries.
