DLA Piper advises Commerzbank venture arm neosfer on investment in Vamo
DLA Piper has advised Commerzbank’s venture arm neosfer based out of Frankfurt am Main on an investment in Cologne-based climate-tech start up Vamo. The financing round totaled three million euros. In addition to neosfer, fintech investor Caesar from Munich as well as several angel investors were involved.
Vamo is a German company specializing in heat pumps, with the aim to accelerate the transition to green heat in Germany. In addition to the consistent digitalization of sales, logistics and installation processes, Vamo is also working on its own software for the operation of heat pumps. The capital raised in the financing round will be used for scaling the core business.
As a wholly owned subsidiary and early stage investor of Commerzbank, neosfer benefits from in-depth industry know-how for the implementation of innovative solutions. The company was founded in 2013 and employs 35 people.
The DLA Piper team was led by partner Simon Vogel and counsel Marcel Nurk (both Corporate/Private Equity, Munich).
