Ming’s practice involves a wide range of commercial and civil disputes, including contractual and extra-contractual matters. He regularly acts for companies in class action matters, contractual disputes, access to information cases, arbitration files, injunction and safeguard order applications and challenges. Ming’s practice involves a wide range of commercial and civil disputes, including contractual and extra-contractual matters. He regularly acts for companies in class action matters, contractual disputes, access to information cases, arbitration files, injunction and safeguard order applications and challenges. Ming also represents professionals before various administrative, disciplinary and civil instances.

Ming obtained his bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal, where he was named on the Dean’s Honour list, and where he was elected member and president of the Board of Directors of the Law Students' Association by his peers. In addition, Ming completed an internship at a major law firm in Beijing and attended a summer program at China University of Political Science and Law.

Ming is actively involved in various diversity and inclusion initiatives. He participated in the founding of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers of Quebec and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the federation.

Prior to joining DLA Piper’s team, Ming practised as a litigator at a leading national law firm.
