Amanda Maki is a corporate and securities senior counsel in DLA Piper’s Capital Markets and Public Company Advisory Practice, with over 25 years’ experience advising publicly traded companies on corporate governance, securities laws and stock exchange compliance matters.
Amanda has extensive experience advising boards of directors and executive management teams on all aspects of regulatory compliance and corporate governance impacting public companies. Prior to returning to private practice, Amanda spent more than 20 years as in-house counsel and corporate secretary at three S&P 500 companies, responsible for SEC reporting and compliance matters, implementation of corporate governance best practices, compliance with stock exchange listing standards, execution of capital markets transactions, disclosure of complex executive compensation matters, shareholder engagement and development of SEC-compliant disclosure framework around environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.
