DLA Piper partner Michael Jay named to the Daily Journal’s 2023 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partner Michael Jay was named to the Daily Journal’s 2023 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers list honoring the top attorneys across the state of California who have made significant contributions in intellectual property law.

The publication highlighted several of Jay’s recent achievements, including co-leading the team that successfully handled an International Trade Commission investigation and related district court action for Motorola. The Daily Journal also noted that Jay serves as lead counsel for Disney and Hulu in a lawsuit over patents on streaming content online.

Jay focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and strategy, with an emphasis on patent and trade secret litigation. He has represented a broad range of clients in intellectual property matters, including in jury and bench trials and appellate proceedings, in cases involving such diverse technologies as telecommunication and wireless communication protocols, smartphones, integrated circuits, computer software, Ethernet controllers, medical devices, biological products and pharmaceuticals.
