DLA Piper announces new practice leadership

DLA Piper is pleased to announce several changes to sub-practice leadership in its Finance, Corporate, Private Equity, Regulatory and Government Affairs, and Litigation practices. The changes include:

Finance

  • Rachel Albanese was named US chair of Restructuring, after previously serving as US vice chair. Craig Martin, who previously served as vice chair of the International Restructuring practice, will become co-chair of global Restructuring.
  • Tom Ara and Mark Whitaker serve as co-chairs of the newly created Sports, Media & Entertainment Finance & Transactions sub-practice.

Corporate and Private Equity

  • Rita Patel, who serves as US chair of Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, and Stacy Paz, co-chair of the firm’s Transactional Tax practice, now also lead the firm’s newly established Transactions Services sub-practice.

Litigation
