Melody regularly works on pro bono matters, including providing legal services to military veterans and asylum seekers.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Melody worked pro bono, as a legal intern, for military veterans on disability matters, including representing them in their Board of Veterans' Appeals hearings. She also worked as a law clerk for a local IP firm where she focused on trademark and copyright matters. Melody also served as an executive member of several student organizations, on campus, including the Transactional Law Team, the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law, and the Name & Gender Marker Clinic.
