James leads our Business Advisory team in the UK and Europe. He is an experienced and trusted advisor on strategy, M&A and operations in complex settings involving regulatory and technological change, challenging government and stakeholder dynamics, and high degrees of uncertainty and risk.
James’s diverse career background includes leadership positions in a global Management Consulting firm, a prominent Central Government department, a leading strategic advisory boutique, and Investment Banking. He helped launch and lead one of the largest European AI ventures and advises applied AI start-ups in areas from drug discovery to robotics.
Working across a broad range of industries and from different perspectives, James's sector focus has been predominantly on advanced industries and deep tech, with experience also across technology and telecoms, public sector, energy, and retail.
