Beatriz Albuquerque

Beatriz has a practice focused on corporate and securities law transactions involving private and public ‎companies.‎

Beatriz assists clients on a range of matters, including private placements, mergers and acquisitions, ‎public offerings and stock exchange listings. She also advises on general corporate and securities law ‎issues, including continuous disclosure obligations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and ‎Canadian stock exchange matters.‎

While completing her J.D. at the University of Victoria, Beatriz was involved with the student community, ‎and served as the Vice President of Communications of the Law Students’ Society. She was also the ‎University’s representative with the Canadian Bar Association. ‎

Prior to immigrating to Canada, Beatriz practised law in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she is still licensed.‎

Beatriz articled with the firm before joining as an associate in 2022.‎ ‎
