Tal focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, white-collar litigation, and government investigations.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Tal served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. During her clerkship, Tal had the opportunity to work on complex matters, including class actions, securities violations, and cryptocurrency disputes. Prior to clerking, Tal worked at a civil litigation firm in Miami where her practice focused on class actions, commercial disputes, and voting rights.
Tal received her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated first in her class. During law school, Tal served as the Executive Managing Editor of the FIU Law Review, interned for the Honorable Ivan F. Fernandez of the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida, and worked as research assistant to Professor Thomas E. Baker where she conducted extensive legal research on religious freedoms under the First Amendment.
