DLA Piper partner Andrew Hoffman named to the Daily Journal’s 2023 Top White Collar Lawyers list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partner Andrew Hoffman was named to the Daily Journal’s 2023 Top White Collar Lawyers list honoring the top attorneys across the state of California who have made significant contributions in white collar law.

The publication noted several of Hoffman’s recent achievements, including a major victory for client Adamas Pharmaceuticals in a False Claims Act (FCA) lawsuit. The Daily Journal highlighted Hoffman’s “ability to tackle complex legal challenges, including convincing the Ninth Circuit to consider appeals on an interlocutory basis and reversing unfavorable district court decisions,” as well as his dedication to pro bono work representing veterans and handing immigration matters.

Hoffman focuses his practice on defending pharmaceutical manufacturers and other life sciences companies in government investigations and related litigation. He has extensive experience defending against whistleblower lawsuits brought under the FCA and analogous state laws, as well as experience conducting internal investigations relating to potential violations of US health care laws, FDA regulations and corporate policies.
