Craig Hunter is a banking and finance lawyer with experience advising the main UK banks, private equity investors, funds and corporate borrowers across a range of sectors, including financial services, infrastructure and real estate.

Craig is qualified in Scotland but is regularly involved in cross-border financings, acting for both lenders and borrowers.

He has particular experience in real estate finance and leveraged finance, as well as advising on growth finance and project finance.

  • Advised German bank, BayernLB, on the £62m refinancing of Harburnhead onshore wind farm, which was the bank's first project finance transaction closed using SONIA (Sterling Overnight Index Average) as benchmark.
  • Advised on Scania's new £10m sales and service centre located at Eurocentral in Scotland, a completely fossil free building....
