Adam Abou Habaga concentrates on corporate and leveraged/acquisition debt finance, with an additional focus on structured finance and asset-based lending, particularly in transactions that integrate acquisition/corporate and asset-based elements. He brings a wealth of experience as deal captain on each of these type of financing transactions, acting for all types of lenders (including traditional financial institutions and private credit funds), private equity investors and large (listed) corporates.
He has been on client secondments with two of the leading banks in the Netherlands, including in their acquisition finance and syndicated loan teams.

EXPERIENCE
Advising the international lending syndicate on the cross-jurisdiction and sustainability linked asset based financing of ACT Commodities Group and ACT Financial Solutions. The team led by Adam consisted of members in DLA Piper's offices in The Netherlands, Unites States, Singapore, Belgium, United Kingdom and France.
Advising the Dutch private equity firm 365 Capital in connection with the financing of its acquisition of Hendi Group as well as the cross-jurisdiction asset based financing for the target group.
Advising the private credit fund lender in connection with the unitranche financing provided to Dutch private equity firm Gilde Equity Management in connection with its acquisition sixteen insurance agencies and the underwriting company Licent.
Advising the Dutch listed entity ForFarmers on its corporate financing.
Advising the senior lenders in connection with the financing for Pon Group's major acquisition of all of the shares in Urus Group.
Advising the lenders in connection with structuring of the financing of the National Warmth Fund (a special purpose fund set up by the State to stimulate home owners (and related associations) taking energy reduction and sustainable measures for their respective properties in The Netherlands) and the separate financing arrangements provided by the Council of Europe Development Bank to the National Warmth Fund and the European Investment Bank to the National Warmth Fund.
