DLA Piper partner Tamar Duvdevani named to Crain’s New York Business’s 2025 Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys list

The publication’s profile of Duvdevani highlighted her role in securing a precedential Ninth Circuit reversal and permanent injunction for Dr. Seuss Enterprises in the Dr. Seuss Enterprises v. ComicMix litigation, as well as her representation of Nike in copyright litigation relating to ownership and infringement of the “Klaw” design used by NIKE during its endorsement deal with NBA MVP Kawhi Leonard.
Duvdevani is an experienced trademark, copyright and right-of-publicity litigator for marquee entertainment, consumer products and apparel companies. She focuses her practice on disputes involving trademarks and trade dress, copyrights, right of publicity, false advertising and digital media issues, as well as other commercial litigation matters such as complex contract/licensing disputes and arbitrations. She has successfully argued her cases before the Second Circuit and district courts throughout the country, achieving multiple victories at trial and on preliminary injunction motions.
