Tommaso Ricci is Lawyer specialized in Data Protection, Cybersecurity and TMT matters, focusing on highly complex legal cases which involve technical expertise on new technologies including Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. He assists national and international clients in complying with national and European regulations, and represents clients in litigation proceedings in front of the authorities and courts.

Tommaso is an expert in LegalTech and legal process improvement; he coordinates international projects related to the development and adoption of innovative technologies to support legal functions.

He developed Transfer, a LegalTech tool to help organizations perform transfer impact assessments based on the DLA Piper proprietary methodology. In 2018 he developed PRISCA, an AI-driven virtual assistant to help companies comply with GDPR and ePrivacy, which was awarded the TopLegal Enterprise Ecosystem prize in 2021.

He regularly holds post-graduate lectures and international conferences on Data Protection and Legal Tech. He is the founder of TechnoLawgy, a legal information channel covering privacy and legal innovation-related news.
