Recently Nathaniel has:

  • Implemented a debt-for-equity swap transaction, advised the corporate client with respect to avoiding discharge of indebtedness income, and strategized with foreign counsel regarding non-U.S. tax consequences.
  • Developed a method to value the probability-weighted tax risks associated with the outbound transfer of a security.
  • Produced a matrix which detailed a client’s sales tax exposure in seven states with respect to a variety of digital transactions.
  • Advised a non-U.S. individual regarding her obligation to disclose foreign financial assets, on Form 8938 and FinCEN Form 114, and detailed an efficient path towards compliance.
