Giovanni Biscardi joins Campos Mello Advogados

Campos Mello Advogados (CMA), in cooperation with DLA Piper, is pleased to welcome Giovanni Biscardi as Partner and CMA’s Head of International Practice in São Paulo, Brazil.

Biscardi is a corporate lawyer with more than two decades of experience guiding international and in-country M&A and capital markets deals in both Brazil and the US. He assists clients with operational demands, such as the drafting and negotiation of commercial and financial contracts and guides foreign clients in the structuring of their investments in Brazil, as well as Brazilian clients on the implementation of global projects. 

In his international practice, Biscardi has led projects involving investments and assets in Brazil, the US, Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Italy, Ireland, Peru, Spain, the UK, and Uruguay.

Biscardi will coordinate international and multi-jurisdictional operations and advise clients on their overseas businesses. He will split his time between Brazil and the US, working alongside CMA Partners Alex Jorge (New York), Marcella Hill (London), and Paula Mena Barreto (Miami), who offer guidance on Brazilian law internationally.
With the addition of Biscardi, CMA now has 43 partners who combine their legal practice across different fields, contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence in the full-service model in Brazil.
