Energy law - student initiatives

Cooperation with students is particularly important to us. Every year we support student organisations from all over Poland in organising events, as well as developing our own ideas and programmes to help our younger colleagues at the beginning of their professional career.

In two new initiatives this year, lawyers from our Energy Law team - once law students themselves - are promoting knowledge in their own field of work.

These initiatives are (i) the Energy Talent Class and (ii) the National Energy Competition "DLA Energii".

The Energy Talent Class is aimed at third-, fourth- and fifth-year law students from across Poland who are interested in developing their skills in energy law. It will take place over three separate sessions, starting at 19:00, on 14, 21, and 28 November, in a hybrid format – at our Warsaw office and via MS Teams. The sessions will be led by lawyers from our Energy team : Mateusz Koszel, Michał Giżewski, Paweł Szostek, Karol Wasyluk, and Marcelina Dembińska, with additional input from Katarzyna Wacławek from the Finance team and Klaudia Lorent from the Corporate team.

The National Energy Law Competition "DLA Energii" is open to third-, fourth- and fifth-year law students from across Poland who are interested in energy law. The competition has three stages: an online knowledge test, the preparation of a legal opinion based on a case provided to the participants, and a brief interview. You can register to take part from 7 until 30 November.
You can find out more about the Energy Talent Class and the National Energy Law Competition "DLA Energii" by downloading the brochure (in Polish).
