Marina Kananova

Marina Kananova focuses her practice on representing fund sponsors and investors across a wide range of transaction matters, including forming, investing in and operating private investment funds.

Her practice focuses on representing fund sponsors of venture capital, real estate and other private equity investment funds in their fundraising activities and ongoing operational matters, guiding them through key structuring decisions and arrangements, including the formation of parallel vehicles, co-investment entities and special purpose vehicles, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance.

In addition to representing fund sponsors, Marina represents institutional investors in connection with their investment activities across a wide range of private investment funds, including reviewing and negotiating key investment documentation and side letters, secondary transactions and participation in co-investment opportunities.
