DLA Piper advises the Genetics & IVF Institute in its acquisition by Amulet Capital Partners, LP

DLA Piper advised the Genetics & IVF Institute (GIVF), a leading provider of reproductive tissue banking and related reproductive technology services, in its acquisition by Amulet Capital Partners, LP (Amulet), a middle-market private equity investment firm focused exclusively on the healthcare sector.

Founded in 1984, GIVF has grown into one of the world’s largest providers of frozen donor sperm and frozen donor eggs and a leading provider of cryostorage for embryos, sperm and eggs in the US. The company currently operates leading multi-national brands including Fairfax Cryobank and Fairfax Eggbank.

The deal team was led by partner Joey Silver (Atlanta) and included partner Andrew Walker (Austin) and associates Nia Oates Wishom and Regine Lewis (both in Atlanta).
