DLA Piper advises exceet on listing of shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

DLA Piper has advised the exceet Group on the listing of new shares on the regulated market (Prime Standard market segment) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The listing was based on a securities prospectus approved by the Luxembourg Financial Supervisory Authority, Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), and notified to the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) due to exceet's listing in Germany. Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG acted as the Listing Agent for the listing process.

Just earlier this year, with the support of DLA Piper, exceet Group merged with Apex Group, focusing on projects for decentralized green hydrogen supply. The APEX Group, based in Rostock-Laage, is a leader in the development, construction, and operation of green hydrogen electrolysis plants for decarbonizing industry and infrastructure. APEX Group is planning to develop a 100 MW electrolysis plant for green hydrogen production at its Rostock-Laage site by 2027, as part of the "doing hydrogen" initiative in Eastern Germany, supported by funds from the European IPCEI (Important Projects of Common European Interest) program, with an expected investment volume of approximately EUR199 million.

The DLA Piper team was led by partner Dr Roland Maaß and senior associate Juliane Poss (both Capital Markets, Frankfurt), and included senior associate Theresa Schenk (Capital Markets, Frankfurt) as core team member. Senior associate Philipp Meyer (Private Equity/M&A, Frankfurt) was also involved.
