DLA Piper advises Avenga on acquisition of IncluIT
DLA Piper has advised German-based IT service provider Avenga on the acquisition of Argentine software company IncluIT. The transaction is part of Avenga's growth strategy in the US and Latin America. With the acquisition of IncluIT, the company now counts 4,300 professionals in 31 offices in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the US.
Avenga was formed in 2019 through the merger of four formerly independent IT companies. Avenga supports IT and digital transformation projects for medium-sized companies along the entire digital value chain.
IncluIT, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Córdoba, has around 800 employees in 17 countries. Clients include Coca-Cola and Intel.
The DLA Piper team was led jointly by partner Dr Benjamin Parameswaran, counsel Dr Philipp Clemens and senior associate Sophie von Mandelsloh (all Corporate/M&A, Hamburg).The Argentine DLA Piper team was led by partners Antonio Arias and Marcelo Etchebarne and further included associate Juan Pablo Reverendo (all Corporate/M&A, Buenos Aires).
The transaction was led in-house by Dr Mathias Schröder (Group General Counsel, Avenga) and Sergiy Lysov (VP Corporate Development and M&A, Avenga).
