DLA Piper advises Deswik on sale to Sandvik
DLA Piper is proud to have advised global consulting and technology company, Deswik Group Pty Ltd in its sale to Sandvik, and will then form part of a newly-created digital mining technologies division.
Deswik, is a top-tier supplier of integrated software platforms that provides mine planning software, across all sectors, and across the entire mine planning value chain. Headquartered in Brisbane and established in 2008, the company currently has around 300 employees across the globe with an annual revenue of AUD79 million as of October 2021.
Deswik will form one of the three cornerstones in Sandvik’s new Digital Mining Technologies division, along with Sandvik’s Mining and Rock Solutions automation solutions and Newtrax telemetry and collision avoidance solutions.
The DLA Piper team was led by corporate partner Lyndon Masters and supported by senior associates Elizabeth Campbell and Nicole Breschkin and solicitor Julie Humphreys.
