About

Joaquín is a partner in the Litigation and Regulatory practice, leads the EU and Competition team and co-heads DLA Piper's ESG practice in Spain.

He regularly advises on corporate acquisitions, foreign investments, divestment procedures and strategic agreements between companies, where he provides his expertise both in the design of the structures and in the preparation of notifications and negotiations with the competent authorities.

He has participated in numerous cartel and abuse of dominance infringement proceedings, including representing clients during home inspections and before Spanish and EU courts.
