DLA Piper welcomes Michael Fleischman as AI Policy Advisor

DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Michael Fleischman as an AI Policy Advisor. He will be based in the Washington, DC office and will be part of the Government Affairs and Public Policy team.

Fleischman has over 10 years of professional experience focusing on Congress and the Executive Branch, joining DLA Piper from a national organization focused on advocacy in Washington DC. He oversaw the technology policy team with a focus on AI and semiconductor cooperation and regulation.

Previously, Fleischman served as Legislative Director for Congresswoman Grace Meng in the US House of Representatives where he directed and supervised all elements of the Congresswoman’s legislative operations. His accomplishments also include leading and organizing the passage of several bills through the House of Representatives and overseeing the Congresswoman’s activities on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Democratic Outreach & Engagement Task Force.
