Prior Experience

  • Before joining DLA, María Paula worked at the International Trade practices of leading law firms in Brussels and Bogotá. She also worked at the Rules Division of the World Trade Organization, focusing on inter-State trade remedies dispute settlement.

Additional News

  • During her studies, María Paula was awarded with the Best Written Memorial for Complainant at the World Round of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO law (19th edition). As a result of this achievement, she was granted a scholarship to attend courses from the LL.M programme of the Academy of International Law & Policy (AIELPO) on International Economic Law in 2022.
