DLA Piper advises ARKANCE on the acquisition of VinZero

DLA Piper has advised ARKANCE, a leading European company specialized in the digital transformation of the construction and industrial sectors, and a subsidiary of B2B services group Monnoyeur, on the acquisition of VinZero.

This investment will enable ARKANCE, which until now has been present mainly in Europe, to expand its global reach. Since its creation in 2018, ARKANCE has become a leading European player present in 14 countries with 800 employees.

VinZero focuses on accelerating the adoption of digital technologies in architecture, engineering, construction, owner-operator (AECO), and manufacturing organizations. The company’s product suite and professional services enable customers to achieve their own technological and sustainability leadership goals. VinZero has 550 employees and is present in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and India, spread across 32 offices under its subsidiary brands U.S CAD, A2K Technologies, Cadline and Capricot Technologies. In total, the new entity will cover more than 18 countries supported by more than 60 local offices.

Both ARKANCE and VinZero have capitalized for many years on the distribution of solutions from strategic, leading and innovative technology partners. The new entity has become the world's leading distributor of Autodesk, the leading publisher of specialized software for design and manufacturing, particularly for the construction and engineering industries.

DLA Piper advised globally on this transaction, mainly in eight jurisdictions covering Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, India, Netherlands, UK, US and Germany.
