DLA Piper advises Symphony Technology Group (STG) on the acquisition of the group Trace One from HG Capital

DLA Piper has advised Menlo Park-based private equity firm Symphony Technology Group (STG), which specialises in investments in the software, data analytics and software-based technology services sectors, on its acquisition from Hg Capital of the group Trace One, a leading provider of e-collaborative solutions to support manufacturers and retailers of consumer products.

This acquisition will strengthen Trace One's offering and continue its growth as an industry leader and leading SaaS player in empowering retailers and their manufacturing partners worldwide.

The DLA Piper Paris-based team was led by Corporate partner Sarmad Haidar, assisted by counsel Alice Magnan and associate Vanessa Hamiane. Partner Maud Manon advised on the financing aspects, assisted by associate Yanniv Gilquel. Partner Jérôme Halphen advised on the labor law aspects.

The firm’s UK-based team was led by Corporate partners Charles Severs and Piero Carbone assisted by senior associate Jonathan Paines and associate Cameron Spittal. Partner Andy Kolacki advised on the financing aspects, assisted by legal director Richard Normington and associate Ashley Bannister.
