Corruption and Integrity Risks in Climate Action panel discussion

Hosted by DLA Piper

Monday, September 18, 2023

As global efforts increase towards a low-carbon future, the connections between climate change and corruption are becoming clearer. Ever more actors are seeking to do their part to solve the climate crisis – but, without proper safeguards, there is a real risk that resources in this fight may be diverted, not to solid progress, but toward the illusion of progress.

DLA Piper hosted a panel discussion in our New York office to identify gaps in existing legal frameworks that aim to address these risks, including a discussion of straightforward, tangible recommendations for legislators, regulators, enforcement agencies, companies, and professional advisors to respond to these novel problems.

We hope you were able to join us for this illuminating event.
