DLA Piper advises D Cubed Group in its sale of KPS Global to Viessmann Generations Group
DLA Piper advised D Cubed Group (D Cubed), a long-duration private market investment firm, in the closing of its sale of KPS Global (KPS), a leading provider of custom insulated panel systems, to the Viessmann Generations Group (Viessmann).
Since its creation in 2015 by D Cubed, KPS has become a US$400 million revenue company and is the market leading provider of custom insulated panel systems to companies in all areas of food retail as well as in the scientific and cold storage markets.
“It was a pleasure to represent D Cubed on this deal and assist them in driving the exponential development and expansion of KPS. Our deal team was excited to display the full depth and breadth of our capabilities in closing this sale,” said Dan Rollman, the DLA Piper partner who led the deal team.
Glenn Kaufman, Managing Director at D Cubed Group, said: “Dan and the entire DLA Piper team were true partners over the full 10-year investment period, doing great and diligent work through a complex initial set of carve-out acquisitions, in representing the company throughout, and in providing tremendous input throughout the sale. Dan was more than a great lawyer on all of this, he was and is a great holistic thought partner.”
In addition to Rollman (Atlanta), the DLA Piper team included partner Jamie Konn (Atlanta), associate EJ Risley (Houston), and attorney Britt Spurka (Atlanta).
