Melissa Sampson

Melissa Sampson is Of Counsel in DLA Piper's private equity group. Her practice focuses on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers, stock and asset transfers, divestitures, spinoffs, reorganizations, restructurings, equity investments and joint ventures. Melissa works with private equity sponsors, as well as publicly and privately-held companies, in a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, fintech, software, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals and industrial technologies. She routinely advises clients with respect to cross-border transactions with parties in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
