Alison is the location head of the North West real estate team at DLA Piper. With over 25 years’ experience in the real estate sector she brings a wealth of experience to both her clients and the team.
Whilst she is particularly strong in the student accommodation sector she also acts for institutional investors, pension funds and corporate occupiers in all asset classes including office retail and industrial for investment clients she acts on all aspects of their portfolio including acquisitions, disposals, development and day to day asset management.

EXPERIENCE
- Alison has advised Downing Developments for over 20 years not only their extensive student portfolio but also the office investment portfolio. She is currently working with Downing on its development in Manchester City Centre which will deliver what is considered to be the largest co-living community in the world.
- Other clients include Orchard Street Investment Management, Picton Capital, Unilever Pension Fund and Universities Superannuation Scheme.
