EXPERIENCE

  • Advising ENGIE and Mitsui in relation to the development and financing of a solar and renewable hydrogen production facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia that will supply the hydrogen produced to an existing ammonia production facility owned by Yara International ASA.
  • Advising BE Power in respect of all aspects of the development of the "Big-T" 400MW Pumped Hydro project situated beside Lake Cressbrook approximately 50km from Toowoomba.
  • Advising Senex Energy on numerous projects including the ARC pipeline; the expansions of the Atlas and Roma North fields; and its joint venture with CS Energy to develop the Kogan Renewable Hydrogen Demonstration Plant near Chinchilla.
  • Advising Highview Power on the development of several renewable energy power stations in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland with development planning underway on two projects so far. The projects blend solar power and Li-ion storage in order to provide a base load supply of renewable energy and grid stability services on a 24/7 basis.
  • Advising Nickel Industries in respect of the construction of the Excelsior Nickel Cobalt high pressure acid leach Project located in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park for USD2.3bn.
  • Advising KOGAS Australia in respect of their investment in the Gladstone LNG Project.
  • Advising INPEX on the restructure of the project documentation for the Ichthys LNG Project in preparation for a positive FID and financial close as well as the sale of upstream and midstream interests in that project to TOTAL and a number of LNG buyers including Osaka Gas, Toho Gas, Tokyo Gas and Chubu Electric Power.
  • Advising Mitsui E&P Australia in respect of the Greater Meridian Coal Seam Gas Joint Venture and associated gas marketing arrangements.
  • Advising ANP, the national petroleum authority of Timor-Leste as lead international legal counsel on the concession arrangements as well as developing the legal and fiscal frameworks necessary to enable development of the massive Greater Sunrise offshore oil & gas field.
  • Advising North West Shelf Project participants (BHP, BP, Chevron, MIMI, Shell and Woodside) on the life extension of the existing project facilities in order to transform the project into a third-party gas processing facility (including negotiating gas processing arrangements with other gas resource owners) and extend production of the existing project.*
