DLA Piper advises Haemonetics in its acquisition of Attune Medical for US$160 million

DLA Piper represented Haemonetics Corporation (Haemonetics), a global medical technology company focused on delivering innovative medical solutions to drive better patient outcomes, in its acquisition of Chicago-based Attune Medical, manufacturer of the ensoETM® proactive esophageal cooling device, for an upfront cash payment of US$160 million at closing plus additional contingent consideration.

The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of Haemonetics' fiscal year 2025.
