DLA Piper advises Promethean on acquisition of Explain Everything

Law firm DLA Piper has advised Promethean, a leading global education technology company, on its acquisition of Explain Everything.

Explain Everything is a leading digital whiteboard platform, providing users with a range of practical solutions to create interactive and engaging learning materials.

The addition of Explain Everything will provide Promethean with more technological innovations in the area of EdTech (Educational technology), meeting the globally increasing needs for education including enhance of teaching effectiveness.

From DLA Piper's Warsaw office, the transaction was led by Michał Sowiński with the support of Izabela Gębal, under the supervision of partner Jakub Marcinkowski from the corporate, mergers and acquisitions team. Tax advice was provided by Rafal Dostatni, under the supervision of partner Łukasz Dynysiuk from the tax team.
