DLA Piper GDPR Fines and Data Breach Survey 2025 – webinar

A report produced by DLA Piper’s Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity team

22 January 2025, 16:30 – 17:30 CET | 15:30 – 16:30 GMT

We are delighted to invite you to the launch webinar for DLA Piper’s Annual GDPR Fines and Data Breach Survey 2025.

It has been another busy period for enforcement, with a number of significant fines issued by European data protection supervisory authorities. In this year's Survey we explore whether or not GDPR is really just a challenge for social media and Big Tech when it comes to regulatory enforcement. We also examine some of the recent investigations and enforcement decisions for evidence of a shift in focus away from holding corporates to account in favour of personal liability for officers and directors.

As with previous editions, we will also be reporting on emerging trends in enforcement and sanctions as well as on personal data breach notifications across the 31 countries surveyed.

Please join our live webinar where Ross McKean, Ewa Kurowska-Tober, John Magee and Heidi Waem will discuss the key findings, emerging enforcement trends and answer questions on this latest report.
