Join us on Wednesday, 21 February for insightful discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and the opportunity to enhance your skills in managing workplace investigations on a global scale.

This event is tailored for in-house lawyers and senior HR professionals, offering a highly interactive experience centred around a compelling case study that we will revisit over the course of the day.

This one-day conference, hosted at our London office, will begin with a thought provoking panel discussion about some of the curve balls that can arise as part of such an investigation, drawing on the stories from the trenches. Audience participants are encouraged to share their own perspectives of what works and what does not work well in their experience.

We shall then move onto a case study to cover the life cycle of a workplace investigation into respect in the workplace issues.

There shall be three main elements to the case study:

  1. Initial assessment and planning;
  2. Conducting the investigation; and
  3. Deciding on the outcome and implementing an effective remediation/mitigation strategy.

The session will be cross-border in nature, and will include the UK, France, Germany, China and the US. As well as working through a case study over the day, we shall have country specific surgeries where attendees can ask questions with our country and subject matters experts and share experiences and insights with their peers.

Typically, we find that the issues we are asked to investigate are intersectional in nature, covering multiple protected characteristics and sometimes spanning years or even decades. There can be additional complexities where the Police or regulators are involved and there is often an interplay between data privacy and employment law issues.

We shall use the case study and surgeries as an opportunity to draw upon these complex legal, logistical and practical challenges in order to give you the tools you need to manage your cross-border investigations with confidence.

Please note that places are limited and subject to availability.

We look forward to welcoming you.
