DLA Piper advises SUSI Partners on the sale of onshore windfarm portfolio in Germany

DLA Piper has advised Swiss investment manager SUSI Partners, an independent, specialist investment manager focusing on private, mid-market infrastructure opportunities that arise from the global energy transition, on the sale of a German onshore windfarm portfolio to Qualitas Energy Group.

The sold portfolio consists of seven operative onshore windfarms with a total capacity of approx. 99 MW.

The DLA Piper team was co-led by partner Dr Philipp Clemens (Hamburg) and counsel Dr Philipp Kynast (Dusseldorf) with senior associate Dr Marcel Schmidt (all Corporate/M&A; Hamburg) in the core team and further support from partner Dr Murad Daghles (Corporate/M&A; Dusseldorf).

The team also included partners Dr Wolfram Distler (Finance, Frankfurt), Michael Cieslarczyk (Energy, Dusseldorf), Dr Konrad Rohde (Tax, Frankfurt), Dr Manuel Indlekofer (Real Estate, Munich), counsel Christopher Ollech (Energy, Cologne), Sven Bischoff (Tax, Frankfurt), senior associates Gabriela von Wietersheim (Finance, Cologne), Dr Lilian Gutkin as well as associates David Schmalstieg (both Real Estate, Munich) and Dr Lukas Patt (Energy, Cologne).

SUSI Partner’s deal team for the transaction was led by Johannes Vetsch, Matias Parikka and Javier Blanco Martin.
