DLA Piper advises Renovo Capital on the acquisition of ADVEEZ

DLA Piper advised Renovo Capital, LLC (Renovo), a private equity firm investing in lower middle market technical product and service companies, in its acquisition of ADVEEZ. ADVEEZ designs and builds specialized hardware and software to provide telematics for aviation ground support equipment.

This is Renovo’s fifth platform acquisition in the internet-of-things (IoT) sector and twelfth IoT transaction overall. With Renovo’s investment, ADVEEZ plans to invest in more R&D, customer care, and post-sales support to continue bringing innovative solutions to the aviation industry.

“We were pleased to support Renovo on this key acquisition, which marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to growth and innovation in the IoT sector,” said Dan Rollman, the DLA Piper partner who led the deal team.

In addition to Rollman (Atlanta), the DLA Piper team included partners Drew Young (New York) and Thomas Priolet (Paris); of counsel Brian Stanton (San Francisco); and associates Madison Burdick and Sarah Costello (both in Atlanta), Antoine Gravier (Paris), and Molly McBride (Los Angeles).
