Alexa Polenz

Alexa Polenz frequently negotiates and advises on a wide range of secondary transactions, including large-scale secondary portfolio transactions, GP-led continuation vehicles, and structured secondaries. She assists both sell-side and buy-side clients in navigating all stages of the secondary transaction process, from engagement of brokers through execution and closing. Her practice is distinguished by a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to complex and bespoke secondary transactions.

Alexa also represents institutional investors in connection with their primary investments in private equity funds and other alternative assets, including the review and negotiation of investment documentation and side letters, as well as direct and structured co-investments and funds-of-one.

Her clients include funds of funds, governmental and corporate pension plans, university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, investment advisors, asset managers, and family offices.
