DLA Piper raises AUD200 000 in support of the UN Refugee Agency
DLA Piper teams from Australia and New Zealand are participating in the 48km cliff-hugging trek of the Three Capes Track in Tasmania in support of our partnership with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
“Our partnership with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is a critical part of our pro bono mission globally,” said Nicolas Patrick, Head of Responsible Business, DLA Piper.
“We're grateful for the time and effort volunteered by our staff. We have a new group of trekkers embarking today and hope to raise more funds as their trek unfolds,” Nicolas added.
Over 2023, DLA Piper has provided 6,700 hours in pro bono support for the UNHCR and the vital work they perform in support of displaced peoples around the world.
We work with the UNHCR to provide innovative responses to the global refugee crisis, enhance refugee integration and advocate for impactful, systemic change.
DLA Piper looks forward to continuing to work in partnership with the UNHCR on their critical work.
