Martín Mittelman advises on business law and corporate matters, focusing on resolution of corporate disputes as well as financial and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. He has acted as counsel in several local and cross-border M&A transactions and corporate disputes.
Among other notable M&As, he acted as counsel to Telefónica de España on Atento's US$1 billion sale. He also represented GP Investimentos in the US$1 billion acquisition of Pride International's assets in Latin America, including a US$600 million structured financing and a takeover of 22 companies in 9 countries, assisting not only in the structuring and implementation of the Argentine part of the transaction but also in the coordination of the transaction in the other Latin American jurisdictions. Martín has been responsible for drafting and filing reporting requirements of foreign issuers' relevant information with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Furthermore, Martín has assisted clients in the coordination of complex corporate litigation in several jurisdictions, among them Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, New York and Delaware.
