David Spratley appointed Co-chair of Canadian Intellectual Property and Technology Group

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to announce that David Spratley has been appointed Co-chair of the Canadian Intellectual Property and Technology Group. ‎

David is a long-standing member of our IPT group, with over 20 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of intellectual property, information technology and e-commerce issues. In addition to his thriving IPT practice, David has a strong data protection and privacy practice and assists clients in complying with federal and provincial privacy legislation and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. He also regularly advises on IP, IT, privacy and related aspects of commercial transactions. In 2022, David was named a Lawyer of the Year for Information Technology Law by Best Lawyers in Canada.
