DLA Piper Canada welcomes associate Omar Halbouni

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP welcomes Omar Halbouni to the firm’s Edmonton office in the Capital Markets group.‎ Omar advises both private and public clients in the areas of cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, capital markets, securities, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters. Omar has experience in various industries, including energy, oil and gas, health care, technology, startups, agriculture, mining and exploration, manufacturing, automotive, real estate, and construction.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Omar practiced at a national full-service firm. Omar received his J.D. from Western University with a focus in business law.
